Exchange folders keep unticking for push email

My Work colleague has alot of sub folders for our work email which is on MS exchange, My Work colleague and we are successfully synced up to exchange however he is finding because his sub folders keep getting unticked for no explainable reason his email isn't getting pushed to him.

anybody got any suggestions why this is happening
