Nov 14, 2013 5:36 AM in response to quack_drby Skydiver119,Are there photos on the card?
To be read, the photos on the card must follow a very strict naming convention. There has to be a folder named DCIM, and all files in that folder must have 8 character names, such as DSC_4839.jpg for example.

Nov 14, 2013 6:13 AM in response to quack_drby Texas Mac Man,Are the photo files in jpg format, or some other format like raw?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.
Cheers, Tom

Nov 14, 2013 10:42 AM in response to quack_drby Skydiver119,If this is an example of your file name
20130126_132425
then yeah, that's why it won't work.
The iPad will read 8 character names only.
