Additionally, your Apple ID may be signed into your child's Messages and FaceTime settings. You can check the settings for Messages and FaceTime on your child's device to sign out of your Apple ID:

Next, I recommend signing out of iCloud on your daughter's device. You can do this by deleting the iCloud account from her device and then signing in with the new Apple ID:

On your iOS device’s Home screen, go to Settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Delete Account.

Hi there thanks for you help. Im still a bit confused. If I create a new apple ID do I have to repurchase the apps I already have on my phone?

And also if I change my apple ID on my phone will it delete my pictures and contacts.
