WhyOS MAverikcs use koteri latin keyboard? InOS X Mavericks, Kotoeri uses the Latin keyboard layout at the prompts listed above when typing Japanese text. This causes differences in the keyboard layout when multiple languages are enabled as Input Sources.

You need to activate the US layout and switch to it before using Kotoeri.

To tell Apple you want them to go back to the way it used to be in 10.8 and earlier, use
