My ipod shuffle has recently stopped charging, today i purchased a brand new lead thinking that was the problem yet i am still having difficulties. The ipod will not charge with a charger plug or charge on my windows computer (won't sync).

NOTE: If it's an older 2nd gen shuffle, you need to use it with the original USB cable, or a compatible third-party replacement. The USB cable for the 3rd and 4th gen shuffle fits, but does not work, because the connector is different.
