Two Bluetooth connections?

Hi,

I have my iPhone 5 always connected to my car factory handsfree system, via Bluetooth. However, I'm now planning to buy a new TomTom satnav which gets realtime traffic info from the phone via Bluetooth also. Will this work, or will I face problems or inconveniences for keeping both connections alive?

I learnt this can be a problem by reading this review from the satnav I'm planning to buy:
