How do I make my iphone 5 with ios 7 show the history of things i have looked at on safari on my macbook ...i dont have private browsing turned on

On your Mac?
From the Safari menu bar click History > Show History
Or, Option + Command + 2 on your keyboard.

I can see the history of my phone on my mac.... under the littel cloud button to the left of the search bar

Webpages you visit on your Mac can only be viewed on your Mac and vice versa for an iPhone.

The history available on Safari on your Mac cannnot be read from an iOS based deivce and vice versa.

Good one, A.dickey! If only the Safari iCloud sync (betweeen all devices) sync as smoothly as how Chrome does it. Next thing that Apple can work on, but so far this is a good start, I guess.
Glad A.dickey figured it out! That was a help. I don't know how someone gets to Level 10 without knowing that browser history has nothing to do with what operating system you're on. 😕
The little cloud thingy only shows open tabs in other devices i thought. Is there no way to look at history from other devices?

Different OS has different preferences ( caches files of history ) so , its practically impossible .
