Q: numbers on cloud and mac won't share

I have OS 07 numbers in cloud (from iPad2) and Numbers 09 v 2.3 (554) on MacBook Pro (OS 10.9—Maverick).

I made changes on ipad-Cloud. Now it won't open on MacBook — says I need to update, by App Store tells me: NO, I have the update everything.

Numbers, OS X Mavericks (10.9)
