What is error code -54 mean?

I am trying to sync my iPhone to the current version of iTunes and get error (-54). What does this mean? I have iPhone 4 using iOS 7 and MacBook Pro OSX (maverick). Thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
