iCAL automatically deleting events

Hey everyone...Im having a few challenges with my iCAL and couldnt seem to find any relevant threads. So I am unsure it this is an already documented bug.

I have synced my google calendars with iCAL and everything seemed to be working smoothly until....I noticed that whenever I go into a scheduled a calendar event to make changes the event is automatically deleted 😠 My events automatically default to calendar A. however, if im in a hurry or forget to go back into event at a later time to apply the event to calendar B it completely disappears.

I'd love to hear your thoughts in terms of why this is happening.
