Thunderbolt Display Stolen from Porch

Has anyone had luck getting Apple to replace a stolen item after using the pre-sign option? In the 45 minutes between delivery and my wife arriving home, our thunderbolt display was swiped. Feeling pretty swindled, but mostly surprised that this happened in our neighborhood.
