My iPad Screen is blue green and pink

Did you drop your iPad? If you did, you may have caused permanent damage to the device.

Try a reset first. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Have you checked Settings>General>Accessibility to see if Invert Colors is switched on?

On second look, those colors don't look inverted. Sorry about that.

Did the iPad restart when you held down on the buttons? You have to hold them both down at the same time and the iPad will evetually restart after the Apple logo appears on the screen. Did you do that?

hello, suddenly 3 days ago my ipad2 screen turns like yours. Did you finally fix it some how?

Some people have had success with a light smack on the back of their iPad, usually after a drop cased the strange colors.I'd head down to the Apple Store myself.

I had same problem (I dropped Ipad about 3 feet), I smacked it on the back on a table and it started working again. Magic!! Thanks!! Also had to replace digitizer from a previous drop! Coordination is not my best attribute.

I also had same problem alternating with a blank blue sceen following 2 & 1/2 foot drop two days ago. Tried bobseufert's and dwfang's cure; took it out of its case and gave it one firm "whack" on its back with my hand. Cured! Thank you SO much! Maybe we who are coordinationally challenged should form our own discussion community.

Dropped my iPad this morning. Checked the screen to make sure it wasn't cracked and went about my day. Got home and turned it on and the green screen appeared. Gave it a good slap on the back and it was back to normal. Thanks for the tip!

I was alos able to slap it on the back firmly and the color went back to normal.

mine required several smacks on the back with multiple color changes before returning to normal. Something tells me this is not healthy for the ipad....

MY Grandson got my iPad but after taking it out of the case and giving it a tap it is working. Tank you so much for the suggestion.
