Battery?

I bought a 13" Macbook Pro from Best Buy Tuesday 11/12/13. I noticed it would not power on when not plugged in. I also noticed the battery is not charging, and the indicator light does not come on. I'll take it back to Best Buy, but I have installed software and set things up for use.
