Why dont you guys make an update that will let ipod 5th have the battery percentage

Please make an update that allows ipod 5th gen to show the battery percentage

Hello KKCCCC6, we're all users like yourself. You have to use the link deggie supplied to contact Apple. If you use the link Illaass supplied you can add the % and replace the battery icon. BUT, before you do... Know it will make you nuts! As stated the metering system on the latest iPod is not accurate, it is an estimate of battery life based on current use. Example; if your iPod is in standby (on but doing nothing) your percent may show 85%. Start playing a game online it may drop to 60%, turn the game off and listen to music from your library and watch it go back to

80%. These are just examples, there is no way for me to know the actual percentage. Anyway, like I said it will make you nuts if you watch it. The only % worth watching is the 20% warning low battery, think of it as the low fuel light on your car's fuel tank, doesn't say when your going to run out of fuel, or in this case power, only that's soon.
