apple and others

hey everyone! how do I install other OS than mac on mac? I know how to do windows but how do I do others? I want pear the most. pear is a real OS from Linux. but were talking about Macs. can any of you read instructions and give it to me more specific? I tried to read but it was to complicated. please help.
