I can't find the serial number on my earpods.

Q: Where can I find the serial number on the EarPods?
It's on the cable, closer to the plug, it's about 20-25 cm (8-10 inches) away from it.
It will say "Designed by Apple in California Assembled in China xxxxxxxxxx"
