Trying to download videos from youtube using Keepvid and says that a plugin is missing now.

Keepvid did not work for me either. I had to download a keepvid for Mac Mavericks alternative. Works like a charm.

What? I beg your pardon Drew. There is no mention of sync. problems. I am asking the OP what he believes has been taken away from Mavericks. He said that everything he liked is gone. So if you would care to get back to answering every post here to score points, which appears to be your mission, and get off my back claiming I am 'baiting' in this thread it would be most appreciative.
Perhaps the OP can be advised of other methods or Apps to use in place of what he feels has been taken away from his workflow in Mavericks.
