I also have had this problem twice this month but mine freezes once i get off the phone and both times it has been after I finished talking to my sister and i have the iPhone 6 and I've only had it for about 6 months, its strange because it hasn't even been a year and it has happen twice in one month just like 2 weeks apart and both time on a Monday

Thank you so much! it worked I wonder why it happens though, I was making a call and was listening to an automated message asking me to press numbers & wondered if it could have been a bug from their company call sysytem - not sure that's possible?

How do I do this if my home button is working? I have the same problem, but can't power down without the home button it seems.

no need to be techy and first don't panic. its a known issue with a simple resolution and that is.

let your phone battery drain out completely that means it gonna take a day at least then automatically you will see battery with red vertical lines on the screen

which means it needs to be phone charged then plugin for charging and it will start charging normally and will work as it is it use to work before. or else if its completely dead try turning on the phone then it will show the same red battery then follow the procedure mentioned above.

i have this problem too but how do i fix that if both my lock button and home button don't work? i usually just leave it alone or let it die, it just goes back to normal after a while but any suggestions?
