Does anyone know what causes a thin vertical red line on the display?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5), MBP 17
There is a problem with the display or the connection to the display. Take it to an Apple store genius bar for a definitive diagnosis. The diagnosis will be free, any repairs will not be free.

My early 2011 MBP 17 started showing a thin vertical red line one inch from the left edge of the screen. Does anyone know what causes this problem?
