My MacBook Pro keeps restarting and it won't stop

Hi I've had my MacBook Pro for two years now and today it just restarted and doesn't stop. It goes the the white background with the apple logo then to the login screen like it restarted but then it happens over and over again. It does not stop. I just had to hold the power button down to get it to turn off. Does anybody know how to fix this?
