my son forgot his pass code and now the ipod says "ipod is disabled try again in 22,996,410 mins ! help?

To reset your iPod:

• 1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
• 2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

There is nothing you can do but get a new iPod. There is absolutely nothing you can do with that one until the time is over

Once you have Recovered your Device...

That happened to mine too! it said iPod is disabled try again in23,073,684 minutes!!! this is stupid, i tried restoring it but it couldn't connect to i pod server..... please help
