Is apples website having issues ? I entered the serial # of my ipod last week & it was one of the ones recalled. I did not submit the # at that time. I have tried for a couple of days now & when I enter the # is stated "not part of the program". What is the problem ? Anyone know ? Thanks.

Same issue having here. Called Apple Support and they can't give an answer as well, giving BS like 'Your ipods were not produced during the timeline'.
Let's call them again and give them pressure.
They told me that as well. Then the rep said that it was a 2nd gen when it is clearly not. What is going on with them ?
No idea, the sales rep just have no idea what's going on as well.
But if the program is ended, they should have stopped advertise the page as well. We need to call them again and again to make them do something.
It cannot just end. This is a safety issue. They can be sued if something were to happen. Also they would have to have something on the site stating that the program was coming to an end.
I'm relieved to see that other people are having the same issue. Has anyone had any success speaking to someone on the phone? I was at the genius bar for an unrelated issue and they had no idea about the recall, let alone that the website isn't working.
I had no issue during my attempt to fill out the form. Easily got to the point where it says Apple is going to send me a shipping box. Not sure if they fixed it or not but worked for me.
