Hello cyper friends,
I'm not very literate as far as gear goes and here is my story.I was using Logic 8 but after a while my processor on my mac power bk G4 couldn't handle even my modest projects so i needed to upgrade. I finally got a new i-mac 27" and my interface (a tascam US-122) was not supported and not upgradeable. My keyboard is a Nord Stage with midi in and out and this worked with my Tascam. A friend said to get the Yamaha Audiogram 5 but this has a usb connector but no Midi in or outs, just quarter inch line jacks, this probably isn't a problem but I don't know.- plus it has Cubase which I don't think I'll need with LOGIC. Seemed easier with midi ins and outs and less cords in the way.
Anybody with an idea about which interface to use? Thanks for your help. Johnsound
