Keynote 6.0 presentation not working on iPad

I've just upgraded my MacPro to Mavericks and used the new Keynote to create a presentation. But my iPad won't open it. Is the problem just that Apple hasn't upgraded iPad software yet?

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4
