Album artist issues

I synced an album to my iPhone and it appears with 4 duplicates. If I click artist it shows the artist in 2 separate letters with the whole list of songs in each and if I click albums it shows the album twice and lists the songs twice in each totalling 4. If I delete one it deletes it all and also all of my numbered albums are out of order. Any ideas? I've been in the info and changed everything twice now but still no fix.
