Try the Nik update:

Version 1.109 - December 11, 2013
Not for me. I installed the new version and have the same problems like I had before.
Just for testing I installed the very first version of the Google Nik Collection and there is everything working fine.
With the new update he opens the photo, applies the changes to it and saves it as a new file. So far so good. If I go to the next photo, Aperture shows me the following statement: "Not supported file format."
I tried ervything from reinstalling the plug ins and reparing the library.
Unfortunately the workaround I mentioned does not work for everyone, neither does rbuilding the library. Hopefully the lates Nik update will take care of this annoying issue and not introduce more problems as mentioned by Marc.hb
At least now we know it is a compatibility issue and Google recognizes it and is working on it.
You are seeing a different issue then the grey screen originally reported on this thread. It appears the new Nik update resovled some of the user's issues...including the grey screen / blank screen issue.

You might want to post a new thread for the unsupported or post your issue here:
After multiple Nik updates, and an entirely new Mac OS (Yosemite), I still have problems with the "grey screen of death." Starting to lose hope. I have tried the fixes and workarounds above, but no luck. It only effects selected images for me. I do lots of panoramas, and 1 or 2 images out of the group get the grey screen, making the whole project unusable. Very frustrating.
