Hi with the release of IOS 7.0.4 my iphone 5 updated from 7.0.3 to 7.0.4 without my permission automatically by downloading it at background.This is not acceptable since its my choice if i want to update or stay on the current version.
So could someone tells me how to disable automatic system update

The only solution I have found for this is to have your phone so full of data the update is too big to download. One way of doing this is to download movies or other big files that you don't need but just to fill the iPhone. When storage is running low you just delete one of the files and you can use that space to useful things.
Maybe some programmer can make an application that can read available space and automatically creates files to match wanted free space?
You can stop the automatic update at Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Automatic Downloads --> Updates = "off".
I am sorry but its not application updates but system software updates
It shouldn't have! Only way it would update is if someone updated it, has someone been on your iPhone recently or in the past week?

As this article explains, the updates will download automatically. However, you get to decide if and when they get installed.

Mind you I am still on iOS 6.1.3 and that doesn't give automatic updates, on iOS 7 I don't know sorry mate.
I only left 5 gb after it auto download the freaking update which is why it is so annonying.In the first place i was not even told that it will auto update man.Till yesterday night while watching video it pop out saying it has been downloaded and ask me to install now or later. i hope there is a fix on this matter otherwise it is against consumer right

Once you install the update, you won't need to have both the current and the next version of iOS on your iPhone, so I would expect you to get space back after the installation.
I recommend you update promptly.
I should clarify - you don't have two complete iOS versions while waiting to update.
But you'll still save some space once you complete the update.
I am facing the same problem too!! The auto update drain all my data!!
It should be like download whenever I choose to download so that I can go to connect my wifi then only download and not drain my data! :(
