Is Fujitsu fi-60F scanner compatible with Macbook Pro?

Hi there!

I’m in the UK and I have a Macbook Pro, OS X Lion, version10.7.5 (processor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7).

I have a Fujitsu fi-60F flatbed scanner, which comes with a TWAiN (powered by ISIS) Drivers and Applications Set Up CD-ROM.

Is my scanner compatible with my Macbook and will I damage my Macbook Pro if I insert the TWAiN Drivers and Applications Set Up CD-ROM into my Macbook? If there will be problems, how do I get around them and is there other software you could recommend which I could download to successfully connect my Fujitsu fi-60F flatbed scanner to my Macboook Pro?
