On installing XQuartz.app and connecting it

You could easily add the hint, that the installed package will be found in: /Applications/Utilities/XQuartz.app this would help a lot!!!

After I downloaded https://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/X112.7.5 I still was not able to start apps using X11. Because I had to manually point it towards XQuartz.app why can't this be done automatically? I mean why not look in usual places and connect it?
