I am trying to copy 3tb of files from 1 4tb hd to another 4tb hd. I keep getting errors. It keeps stopping and failing. Any ideas why? I checked the health of the drive in Disk Utility, no issues and it works fine for use. Not sure why copying is such a problem. Thank you

Yeah this is an ongoing problem with OS X. Try copying only some of the files, less than 1TB, at a time.

Thank you! I have tried doing only a couple 100 gb folder at a time, but same error. =/
I've also noticed it takes a REALLY long time to load files when looking in finder. It will take 10 minutes to load the files for a 400gb folder. Any reason why?
