MyGuide #1 Resetting an iPod Classic

MyGuide #1 - Resetting an iPod Classic

In general as music players the iPod Classics work well especially in cars or stereos. But they often crash or freeze when in heavy usage.

How to Reset an iPod Classic:

1. Plug in your iPod Classic, preferably to an outlet.

2. Make sure the Hold switch is fully to the unlock position (all you can see is white, not red).

3. Hold the down Menu button (near the edge) and the Centre button till the Apple logo appears.

4. Wait till the main menu appears and the reset is complete.

Notes:

1. Make sure not to touch any other buttons when resetting.

2. If it doesn't work leave your iPod plugged in for a while then try again.
