Ever since I updated my iPhone 5 with the 7.0.4 version, I can no longer use WiFi anywhere. Not even on my home router which I've been connected to for over 3 years. I have reset the phone, restored from iTunes backup, restarted the router etc etc. Nothing works.

settings>general>reset>reset network settings.
when the device boots back up click wifi and try to connect

If you read the original post you'll see that I've RESET the phone and RESTORED FROM AN ITUNES BACKUP and nothing works. iOS 7.0.4 has ****** my phone.
There is a good chance that your iPhone has developed a hardware problem. Take it to an Apple Store for evaluation.
I doubt that iOS 7.0.4 had anything to do with your problem although the update process itself may have brought out a latent problem. I updated by iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0.4 and have had no WiFi problems.
I have the exact same issue. Wifi worked fine before ios 7.0.4 now broken.
And yes, I've done all the same crap: restore network settings, restored my whole iPhone, 100 reboots...
I have the same issue. Too much of a concidence that as soon as I installed 7.0.4, I couldn't connect to known WiFi connection in my home that I've been using for years. I tried all the shut down, restore network settings, reboot, etc. It has to be the new ios. Can I uninstall and let it run on the old ios?
Same issue here. Installed iOS 7.0.4 on my 5s and it will not connect to WiFi. Glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue... ***** that it is happening. Is there a way to go back to 7.0.3?

I have iOS 7.0.4 installed on iphone 4s with no issues at all, everything is smooth as before.
always try to do a clean restore if possible, OTA ***** big time.
Infact its performing better than when on iOS 7.0.3 (Fast)
Confirmed issue exists 4S 7.0.4 - Tried to connect on both 5 and 2.4 range, WPA or wide open - always immediately yells it can not connect. Let's roll out a hotfix!
Same here. Not only can I NOT connect to wifi, my battery life is horrible. It won't hold a charge. Update was done last night....issues began this morning. Fairly new to the IPhone, so it took a little bit for me to realize this could be the issue. Apparently it is.......
Try to do a full restore rather than just update.
I am experiencing the same issue. Since i upgraded to ios 7.0.4, i cannot connect to my home wifi with my router being just 3 meters from my iphone 4. On the contrary, wifi connection worked ok with 7.0.3, although there were issues with finding wifi connection on the air. Anyone has any clue if apple is working on 7.0.4 wifi disaster?
iOS 7.0.4 has destroyed my WiFi connectivity.
