FCP X Not Recognizing HDD, Using SSD.

I have been using FCP X for a while now, but I have had some serious issues. I have an SSD and an HDD in my computer, but FCP X only recognizes my SSD to load projects and events. It is Mac OS Journaled (Extended) and all of that stuff. I have been resorting to dragging and dropping my projects and events into my HDD from my SSD. I thought I could deal with it like this, but space is being filled and efficiency in loading projects and events is becoming a hassle. I was wondering if I could get some help.

the typical cause for this is when the hard drive has, at the root level, a folder that FCP thinks is a camera...something like a file or folder named no_name or other name that represents a camera folder name. Look for that and if you find it, put it in another folder. That's just a guess.
