You would have to find a Mac running Snow Leopard or earlier with AppleWorks 6.2 or later, except 6.2.9, to open & resave the files as AppeWorks 6. Then you can open word processing files in Pages 4 or earlier & spreadsheets in Numbers 2 or earlier. The newest versions, Pages 5 & Numbers 3, cannot open AppleWorks files.

You could also try the newest version of LibreOffice which states it can open some of these files.

LibreOffice is getting better and better. The next version 4.2 will be able to open even pict and draw documents. It isn't out yet though. But do try 4.1. Some of your wprd processings files will open.

    Thanks, Peggy, and Fruhulda too.

I have downloaded LibreOffice and will try it.
