Q: ive erased all data and settings on my iphone 3gs 11 hours ago the apple logo is on my screen but the progress bar is froze and hasnt moved for hours is this normal

ive arased all data and settings on my iphone 3gs 11 hours ago and although the apple logo is on the screen the progress bar is frozen and nothing seems to be happening any help would be appreciated
