How do I download a PDF using Safari 7 under Mavericks? None of the tips I've found on the web work (alt/cmd click, disable plug-ins, etc.).

I am able to download them using Google Chrome. Worse yet, a search for Safari 7 on the Apple support page returns only an error!

Thank you. This did lead to a solution.

The pop-up status bar that appears while viewiong the PDF within Sarari (it appears temporarily upon opening the link, or when moving the cursor to the bottom portion of the screen) presents a save icon that does work.

However, the menu File/Save As allows the choice to save a PDF. The resultant file is not recognizable by Adobe. This appears to be a bug.
