Q: Can anyone help me. I do not have the photo icon when I go into icloud.com I have put the settings correctly but nowhere can I find a place to add photos

I have just got an ipad and an iphone. I am trying to set up icloud on my computer. I have been through all the processes, but I do not have the icon on icloud.com for photos

There isn't an icon for photos on icloud.com as you cannot view photo stream photos on icloud.com.  If your PC is running Windows XP as indicated in your profile you can't sync your PC with your iCloud account (which requires Vista SP2 or higher).  If you want to view them on your PC you have a couple of options:

 

  1. You can save them to your camera roll on your iOS device, then import them to your PC using your usb cable as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083; or
  2. On your iOS device you can add them to a shared stream with the public website option enabled and invite yourself as a subscriber, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmc0cd7e99.  This option will give you a link to view your shared photos on the web from your computer browser.
