What's going on with Quicktime video podcasts and movies?

What happened to video podcasts with Quicktime? Videos I had on my iPad have been removed and I can't view them in iTunes. These are classes I love. How can I get them back? Currently on iTunes 11.1.1. Very distressed, please advise.
