How do I set the Ethernet speed/duplex on Airport Extreme

I just got a new Airport ...acn, and noticed that the Ethernet port is showing up as half duplex in Airport Utility. I went into the utility on my MAC and in both my Extreme 5th Gen, and the new Extreme acn, I cannot see a menu for the WAN Port and there is nowhere to set the Ethernet Speed/Duplex. Anyone know if I am using the wrong Airport Utility, I am using version 6.3.2, running on a iMAC with Maverick 10.9. Or, does anyone know how to set the speed/duplex?

AirPort Extreme 802.11n (5th Gen), OS X Mavericks (10.9)

Apple removed that functionality in the Airport Utility v6.. only v5 can set the WAN ethernet speed.

Half-duplex may be the correct setting though if it is plugged into an older cable modem for instance.

What modem are you using? Where is the router function, in the modem or the AE?

If you have a computer running Mountain Lion or earlier you can load v5 airport utility in addition to v6. You cannot easily do that with Mavericks.. nor does the v5 work fully with the Gen6 AE. ie you might be able to set something but there is a good chance it will not actually change it.

If you are concerned, use a switch between the AE and whatever it is plugged into .. the switch will then be able to handle the differences between the AE and modem whatever it is.
