Nov 17, 2013 3:55 PM in response to jperl12by WZZZ,Is this what you're seeing? That would be for a Kernel Panic.
If not, then have a look at this article.

Nov 17, 2013 8:25 PM in response to jperl12by WZZZ,The article I linked to may have the explanation, or not. But I don't know if this is specifically a Mac issue. Since it's only happening with Facebook, I would try asking here, if you can manage to stay logged in.

Did you try this suggestion?
This can be fixed by changing your DNS server settings, either for your computer or for your entire wireless network (by changing the settings in the wireless router). Rather than using the server provided by your internet service provider, try changing to the OpenDNS DNS servers or the Google DNS servers. (See those links for complete instructions for changing your settings.)
http://www.thesafemac.com/eliminating-browser-redirects-and-advertisements/#dns
For OpenDNS enter
- 208.67.222.222
- 208.67.220.220
In Sys Prefs>Network>Advanced>DNS and hit Apply. Drag these numbers above any others there.

Nov 18, 2013 12:12 PM in response to jperl12by Linc Davis,You can save yourself a trip by reinstalling OS X, since that's the only thing Apple "Geniuses" know how to do. If that doesn't work, they'll erase your startup volume and install again. If Facebook loads with the machine in that state, they'll tell you the problem is solved.

Nov 18, 2013 12:14 PM in response to Linc Davisby jperl12,will reinstalling OS X erase all the stuff I have on my computer?(picutures, movies, music, documents.....)

Nov 18, 2013 12:19 PM in response to jperl12by WZZZ,Before you do anything else, try from another browser. I would suggest Firefox, if you don't already have it.
A reinstall "shouldn't" lose any of your data, but a backup is always preferable, since things can go wrong. If you chose to erase, yes you will lose everything. And then you will have to move things back from a backup, if you have one, and reinstall third party applications from scratch.
