Panasonic HC X900 No video files showing when connected to MacBook Pro?

I'm trying to import video files from a Panasonic HC X900 to my mac but the files are not showing on the memory card or the camera when its connected by the USB data cable but when going on the cameras playback view it shows all my video clips :/
