Trim audio function

I like the trim function that you can do with movies on quicktime and on your phone real easily... I there anything like this with audio...

I produce music so whenever i hear bar in a loop i want to cut out, I have to open some third party software.. convert it, edit it, then bounce it again to get rid of the problem.
