I have iPhone 4 on ios 5.1.1 and I have been using my iphone as hotspot for so long; either through USB connection or through Wifi.
But lately and suddenly without any explanation or upgrades; all computers stopped connecting to my iPhone hotspot; my iPhone is detected in the list of wireless networks but when I try connecting it, it never connects (keeps "Connecting" forever). Sometimes it connects for less than a second (shows the blue hotspot bar) and then disconnects in less than a second.
I tried everything possible; restarted million times, changed Wifi password, Switched Data Roaming, Switched on/off the hotspot of course another million times and tried on 4 different computers. But nothing is working at all. My service provider as well didn't change anything in their service.
The strange thing is that hotspot using USB connection is working fine and not affected at all with this issue.
I checked other posts of other members but their issues seem to be resolved easily by restarting or changing passwords.
Any root cause for this? Any solution?
