For some reason when I try to FaceTime people from my MacBook, the volume is so soft, that it's not possible to hear a thing, and yes my volume is turned up!

I have the same issue using FaceTime 3.0 on my MBP. I haven't tried making a call to another computer, but it seems to have started after the upgrade to iOS7, and it's pretty bad. Even with Boom and the volume turned all the way up, I can barely hear the other person.
Nevermind, Boom seemed to be the issue for me. I turned it off and I can hear it just fine again.
