Numbers 3.0 doesn't include the ability to Edit in Print View, so you won't find a control for that. This is one of the biggest objections to the new version, based on comments I've seen, and one of the things that Apple has said they will address with an update in the next six months. They didn't say exactly say what they would do, but they did say they were working on it.

Dec 4, 2013 1:57 PM in response to dentonkarlby Norton1,After almost 30 years of using Mac spreadsheets I am forced to use Excel by Microsoft. The irony is huge. First Apple dumped Appleworks, a great small business set of tools and now this. Which bright spark at Apple thought this was a great idea?

You should know you are venting to fellow users. You may provide feedback to Apple using the menu item "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback"
All the best.
Here is a list of item Apple is planning to add back:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6049
The previous version of Numbers is still installed and is located in the folder "/Applications/iWork '09"

Complaining about Apple products is a new thing for me. I figured maybe someone at the Mothership would be reading too.
