How can I transfer pdf files to my ipad? Have latest (today) update.
Have looked at itunes but this application appears to only be relevent for purchases of music etc.
appreciate assistancer.

there are actually multiple ways
1. itunes file sharing

2. Transfer files from your computer to your iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad
The file is transferred to your device, and can be opened in the app you selected in step 3.
3. you can also use google drive, skydrive, dropbox, etc. (i prefer google drive)

Re 2. above: connected ipad to comp. but, under apps I cannot see whre I can add the app I wish to transfer to - books. Cannot therefore file share.
The older I become the more difficult things are 😊

You should download iBooks onto your iPad first. It's free from Apple. Use the App Store app to download iBooks.
