My iPad speakers I think are broken they sound all weird

Try going into the settings and 'reset all settings'.

You will need to retweak your device but it's helped some with sound issues.

Hold down the on/off button and home button together for 9 seconds. It worked for me

I had the exact same problem (and I just solved it, hence reading about your frustrations).

Go to Settings > General > Accessibility

Under the Hearing section, enable "Mono Audio".

Once done, tap on the Sounds section on the left and play one of the sounds (say, a ringtone or a message tone) to confirm if it's been resolved.

If the sounds come out as they used to, go back to General > Accessibility and turn "Mono Audio" off again.

This should wrap up fixing the sound 🙂.
