Macbook (White Unibody Late 2009) and Samsung EVO 840 250GB SSD

Hi all,

I bought this ssd and installed it on my Macbook, but once I restarted my computer holding alt to reinstall mavericks from an usb drive it just goes blank and shows a folder with a question mark. After reinstalling my old hdd everything works fine, so i guess it is not a cable issue....

Any idea on how to get the macbook to recognize the drive and start the clean installation from the usb ?
