Q: Iphoto books

I proceded to the 'buy book' stage and was prompted to update my iphoto to the latest version. Will I lose the book I have completed and have to start again? I have ilife 11 installed on my macbook, and I think snowleopard. My mac is 4 yrs old and I am not very vigilant about updates...!

look and see what version of iPhoto you have - iPhoto menu ==> about iPhoto

If you have a backup you will not lose your book - if you do not then sooner or later you will lose it, all of your photos and all of your other files

And you probably can order without updating - it usually is just a suggestion
