Q: iPhone backup says no space remaining
I am on the free 5 GB iCloud plan. My iPad is taking up 2 GB (so 3 GB free). My iPhone keeps telling me that I don't have enough storage space to do the next backup. It tells me my backup is 3.1 GB, but I don't see 3.1 GB of content when I look through everything that is backup up. My total backup used to be about 3.1 GB including camera roll (700 MB) but that was when I still had space left. Now it tells I am over my storage and I can't do my next backup. I added up all the apps it's showing me and they add up to about 300 MB (rounding up), a far cry from 3.1 GB. How is this possible? Where is this phantom storage and how do I fix this? Please
